Kregg was born in Muncie, Indiana, returning in 2005 to the Hoosier
State to become First Baptist’s pastor. In between, he spent much
of his childhood in Illinois and his ministerial life in Ohio and
West Virginia. He has diplomas from Marion-Forsyth High School,
Liberty University, and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, plus a
doctorate in ministry from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
Kregg is the proud husband of Ann and the proud dad of Justin,
Kalvin, and Elizabeth. In his spare time, he enjoys reading,
woodworking, and working on cars. An important Scripture for Kregg
is Romans 12:1-2 which says, “Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in
view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy
and pleasing to God- this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not
conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed
by the renewing of your mind Then you will be able to test and
approve what God’s will is- his good, pleasing and perfect will. He
also wants everyone to know that he loves his Lord and his family.
